Instructor Bio: ChaCha N. Hudson is an international fashion designer, philanthropist, motivator, and educator with 20+ years of sewing experience. She is an assistant teaching professor in the fashion design program at Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, teaching courses in fashion product development, including apparel construction, pattern making, draping, and lectures focusing on entrepreneurship in fashion and design inclusivity. Prior to joining Syracuse University, she was a professor at the University of Delaware, an instructor at Moore College of Art and Design, and a visiting professor at MBA Mode Institute and Charthess Fashion School (both in Ghana). She earned an M.S. in Fashion & Apparel Studies from the University of Delaware, B.S. in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, and currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Iowa State University in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design.
